The Sculptor family of products provides real-time morphing technology based on Arbitrary Shape Deformation (ASD) for a wide range of 3D models including STL, point cloud data, CAD data, and analysis mesh data.

Sculptor Morph

  • Leverages the Arbitrary Shape Deformation (ASD) technology to provide real-time 3D morphing technology for STL data and point cloud data
  • Lets you specify the area of the model that might change and how the change propagates. There is no need to create complex relationships and weighting functions

Sculptor Morph Analysis

  • Leverages the ASD technology to provide real-time 3D morphing technology for a wide range of CFD and CAE analysis models.
  • After performing the 3D shape modifications, you can export the resulting modified input file for reuse
  • Automatically monitors mesh quality throughout the morphing process
  • Can be used in batch mode for setting up a design of experiments for your analysis
  • Interfaces with several commercial CFD solvers: Fluent, CFX, StarCD/CCM+, OpenFoam, CFD++, Fun3D, Cart3D, and many others
  • Interfaces with several commercial FEA solvers: Ansys, Abaqus, and Nastran

Sculptor +CAD

  • Extends the capabilities of Sculptor Morph or Sculptor Morph Analysis to provide real-time 3D morphing technology for CAD design models
  • After performing the 3D shape modifications to the CAD model, you can export the resulting modified CAD model to an input file to be imported to your CAD system
  • Supports the following CAD formats: STEP, IGES, ACIS/sat, and Parasolid

Sculptor + Optimize

  • Extends the capabilities of Sculptor Morph Analysis to support automated rapid shape optimization without the need for repeated CAD updates and re-meshing
  • Gives you complete control of Sculptor Morph Analysis shape change variables so you can morph your designs based on your product performance criteria
  • Have the following optimizers: Optimized Latin Hypercube (OLH), Design of Experiments, and GRG gradient-based optimizer
  • Interfaces to more extensive third-party optimization tools
  • Allows the user to write out the optimized shape to be imported to the CAD system (requires Sculptor +CAD)

Sculptor + Match

  • Extends the capabilities of Sculptor Morph or Sculptor Morph Analysis to leverage ASD technology to match a baseline model to a target model
  • Has simple process for matching the base model to the target model
  • Sculptor+ Match uses Sculptor's embedded GRG optimization techniques to minimize the difference between the baseline and target models
  • Can be used to match deformed results from a different analysis or to match a design/analysis model to an as-built or as-is scan model
